1 MURDERED???!!!! WTF? perhaps she just died of laughter when he rolled up in his ride.... busy boy though. that has to be one of the funniest things found in a car. I know, I just loved going through that book! A real slice of history....and made me want to disinfect everything of me that touched the car! Now we know why the door cards look like bed heads!

Well we've not been lost in the 70's, been doing research. Tried to get the engine going with a borrowed ignition coil but it wasn't having it - no biggie as we're going to be swapping the engine for something a little more fuel efficient. But now stuck trying to find a replacement for one of the little side additions to the bodywork. I'll put a photo on in the morning just in case any of you lovely lot have any clues where we might find one!

This week the old girl is having open heart surgery. Purists probably best not look! A more economical engine is going in, and a whole lot of rust is coming off

(and I might have stolen the brown back seat cover for my car!)

Transverse engine in a Marina? That's interesting. Guessing it's a turbo diesel of some sort, I don't recognise it (that's not saying much, I barely recognise most engines).

Surely with a diesel the husbands of the women in the black book will hear it in the back alley!
