This morning I went to the Manchester Cars & Coffee meet. I'll have a full thread of pics soon, but this couldn't wait... Sadly I didn't get to speak to the owner so I don't know much about it. Definitely wasn't a V8 though from the sound of it. Look at it! There's an awful lot of work in that... Utmost respect.

It's Ray's, dad of Tomi, vauxviva (I don't know how to highlight it in yellow) on here, look for the "1980 Austin Metro HLS Metro Plus rally car" thread. It is just awesome in the metal.

Damn, that looks like it'll 'give you evils', and then rip its own muzzle off and eat you violently.
I like how the wide body also includes the doors, I bet theres a load of work gone into that. Super stuff.

Awesome, like a stylised cartoon version. Excellent anti-theft device - no door handles.

That is the absolute nuts. It's like the car equivalent of one those steroid-boosted cross breed fighting dogs that are banned all over the world, and it's wearing Hannibal Lector's anti-bite mask.

I, personally, don't like the front. Other than that, the builder of that has put some serious work into it, I like it. The wheels are fabulous.

I think the 'face' is a bit shark-like from some angles; (Certainly knows how to give the hard stare!) I think there's scope for more work here to make it beyond awesome; 3"- 6" roof chop? And the 400+bhp tuned version of the V8.

Thank you to those that have commented on my P6.
Its a Marmite car...you either love it or hate it, I can live with that!
The grill is known as a 'sharks tooth' grill and was used only for 2 years, I thought it was butt ugly, and it had to go, but it seemed wrong to part it from where it had sat for 55 years!, and now it's grown on me!

Always wanted a 'PHAT' car....so I'll build one myself !!

I never would have thought that the grill was an original part, but then it would have been covered by the bumper and number plate and would never have been seen. It really looks like its meant to be there, like you meant it to be there.
