Met a whole new bunch of people , and it turns out that one of my regulars restores high end cars for a living!!
So this morning i had my first go in a Jaguar D type ( beyond dream level!! ) and a Duke ( pre war Jag )
He restored both cars for an Englishman so he can put thm on dutch plates. He has a lot of work from English people taking their cars out of England before Brexit.
My wife made photo's , see if i can find them.....
I even got offered a car as payment for their beerTap.
Also from a local regular , and if i didnt sell it right away , he would swap his classic fot the bartap.
Havn't got a clue wat kind of car it is going to be , but i like a surprise!! stay tuned!!
Thanks , own her for more than 20 years. Bone stock btw. Rather special with two tone clothinterior and steeringwheel , 4 speed gearbox and 1300 engine. Still dead slow....
You should do that more often, looks great parked outside in the sun.
And a great conversationpiece!!

Great idea! Great photo!!
Is your pub in Amsterdam?
Gulpener is from South Limburg isn't it?
Cheers
Our pub is in Hoorn Noord Holland. Gulpener is indeed a lager that comes from the south of Holland. I like them because there not sweet , like all the other popular brands these days , and from the 20 beers they produce , 18 of them are not a lager. small brewery , one 60 people work there and it's family owned.

Makes an attractive addition. Classic cars / vans / buses / lorries INSIDE pubs are really cool!
i would put her indoors , if the front door was big enough!!

Those Dauphine’s are gorgeous.
As mentioned, you should do it more often.
I could not afford to take my car to work, and to be honest, parking it would be the biggest problem.
Parking is an issue and the street were our bar is located is a "walking" zone .
Thats why i placed it on the terrace. Multiple cops walked by and smiled and even started conversation about the car. No tickets!

That looks right at home there.
I think i'd worry too much about people falling over into it after a few too many beers.
Thats why i took her away before my English and irish customers came over from the various construction sites.
We have loads of them as regulars , as they work on site for google and microsoft.

What a great car, love to see it more often that owners put there retros with there business !
In limburg there is a shop with a classic moped in the window, always stop too take a look when i'm there.
I also often place my classics in front of my shop.
Thats why i like all those foodtruck nowdays , i can really enjoy the old trucks beiing used as intended!

Dauphine looks awesome! My cars are in my workshop, where I also run my own business... and I have no time to work on them because I'm too busy working on other people's cars.
Classic workshop? Love to see some progress on customers cars!!
