I saw one mentioned them on another thread, and reminded me that i know of one very near to me that has our name on it if we want it - basically Paul went to ask an old boy about renting a barn off him, and spotted the DKW in the corner. We think its a Junior, but he said it was for sale if we were interested, and i think its been in the family since new ;D
I know the are a kind of a early mutant audi, but i don't know much else, are they rare? i'm sure ive never seen one on the road, its sort of lemon yellow and white
Anyway just wondering
On another point theres is an old boy near my village who has a back yard full - and i mean FULL of Hillmans.. Husky's, hunters etcc (there gotta be over 30 motors in there, in various states of repair).. and he told me he has a container full of NEW parts!! he also rebuilds proper vintage engines
Now he did tell me he was moving to France soon, and i was gonna pop up and see if he's still about, so would anybody like his phone number for spares?
