I'm from Holland. It's not much money for something thats such a big part of my life. Even if i did not come over , i would support the team. We drive 12 hours (with boat) to get to the weekender. I loved both editions and i sept in a tent for the first time in 40 years! Skip 4 pints for something you love. Thats not hard.

Yeah I'm definitely in for this. Link doesn't seem to be working for me though (might just be my phone).

I did find the website a bit hard to use, white letters on a light grey background?
As a MSA recognised club does that mean that I could enter another clubs competition (e.g. sprint)? I was thinking of joining the Devizes and District Motor Club but membership of the RR Club might satisfy one of the needs.
How many is that now?

Thanks so far everyone, I can see there are a few questions in here that need answering, I'm under a bit of time pressure at the moment so will come back and answer more fully. Just wanted you to know I'd seen them and will answer!
The store layout/styling is vexing me at the moment, I need to give it some love to make it all work a bit better, hopefully I can get that fixed on Friday, but I need to get the RR Events site update finished so I can make track stuff available.
As for numbers we're at 30 from this thread alone. So a third of the way to being an actual thing, going to be doing an email out later so it will be in there too, hopefully pick up a few more from that.
Right back to work, will be back to answer more fully the other questions later.
*EDIT!*
Also a massive thank you to everyone that has joined so far, it does mean a lot that people are willing to part with their hard earned money to support these ideas when they are still new.

I'm in. I've signed up.
A chance to give something back to a community that's given me so much enjoyment and incubated so many friendships that have endured the 13 years since I first joined RR.
And more importantly a much needed kick up the backside to re-engage with things on here after way too long.
I'm in. I'm in.

I’ve gone for it too, not because any of the benefits massively float my boat at the moment, but because I dragged my heels joining the vhra and got a disproportionately high membership number, I’ve been on here since the start and want a low number to reflect that 😉
Also, 20 quid a person isn’t a lot, but I’m hoping if enough people join it’ll raise the funds to start making some interesting things happen.

Agreed Brian, you need to stop spending so much of your time watching people kick a leather windbag around and antagonising knuckledraggers on friendface, and buy a sh1t old car again 😉

Please pin this, I'm skint atm due to a new rear patio and new front parking space. I can sign up in 2 weeks.
I've used this site for free for must be nearly 10 years, £20 is a bit of a bargain.

A couple of things - it would not take my forum name but having thought about I suppose it could have gone in the further instructions box - if admin / Hotwire wants to mail me I can respond has to whom I am in real life but most know anyway
Secondly - If this takes off then why not offer a corporate membership - I (and probably several others on here) benefit occasionally when a club member views my work - like what they see and then go on to instruct work from myself - its work that has cost me nothing other than my time to post on the forum - you could probably give some corporate membership benefits such has allowing a advertising banner space at the 'Weekender' or the 'Gathering' - in exchange for an increased membership fee of say £50 / £60 ? - list a rider that its not a RR recommendation of the corporate member or possibly have a restriction that you need to be a RR member for x amount of time before qualifying for joining - just something for the pot to think about for now
