This is another of my late uncles cars
He bought this from me about 20 years ago
And barely used it since , it has been dry stored for a good few years and consequently has a good clean body
It has a boot mounted spare and chrome rostyle wheels not wheel trims!
In lunar grey the bodywork is very tidy with just minor bubbles starting in a couple of doors
Tidy black ambla interior drivers seat has a couple of splits In The pleats
It has full stainless exhaust and sounds glorious
This car needs some fettling and recommissioning
So we decided on a very sensible price to sell
It has an oil leak I can’t see where it’s coming from but possibly the filter housing?
But there’s not another at this price for such a solid old car I believe it’s tax and mot exempt
and please only genuine enquires as The recent death of my uncle is still very much on our minds

I cut my teeth working on these things and they are very underrated and undervalued cars IMO. That looks great, a good looking and quite rare I think colour combo. If I had the space (usual story  ) I would've snapped it up. GLWTS, somebody is going to really enjoy that.

I’ve just spent two...yes two hours with a man on this Rover, and he went away and didn’t buy “because it needs a few bits doing” it said that in the ad and is priced accordingly.....two hours of my life gone on a total tyrekicker!! And no it wasn’t from here, RR people seem more switched on
Why look at car tell me it’s the best shell he’s seen
But can’t afford the £500 or so on improvements??

It wasn’t expensive and as soon as it hit car and classic
I had a lot of calls, the vast majority of them sensible clued up people....by far better than eBay idiots
We sold it for £2600 it’s going to Cornwall next week
Now I need to get on with selling the mg midget
Which is very nice little car and imo a great car at £3500

Spent a few hours today preparing the rover for its new owner This really is going to be sad , my uncle owned it for 20 years It’s such a lovely car, I stood back and just thought of the good times I spent with a great friend The new owner is going to be pleased with it I’m sure   |
