Hi,
This was certainly not the plan! I've been a little unlucky with this Fiat Uno Spark 1.0ie.
I bought the car in excellent condition eleven months ago from KGF Cars ( very professional establishment). There were one or two blemishes on the bodywork - the interior was in fantastic condition. It still wears its original number plates and I think it's one of the best looking Uno's on the road. The car has covered 56k - there is a speedo change stamped in the book at 20.5k
The previous owners obviously cherished the car and I have continued to do so. Under my guardianship, I have carried out the following work:
- New battery
- New front shocks and sleaves
- x2 services.
- Wiper blades
- 2 x New Goodyear tyres plus tracking
- New slave clutch cylinder
- New clutch
If you want a good ogle, head over to Youtube and put in KGF Cars and Fiat Uno Spark.
Unfortunately, it is a non-runner. Firstly, I had the slave clutch cylinder and clutch replaced by a garage. It actually turned out to be the master slave cylinder which I have removed from the car. New ones are around £40. The big issue is that there a clicking noise coming from one of the cylinders and it's lost power so it requires (to what degree, I have no idea) a rebuild or engine replacement. I do not have the knowledge to carry out the work myself and the cost of a rebuild is beyond my means.
There are age-related marks and minor rust on the drivers-side wheel arch - quoted £100. Plus a pinhead dent on the bonnet. It is in great condition though.
Five-speed, carb, manual choke.
I'm open to offers but will only sell to someone who actually comes and views the cars.
Thanks for reading
