My Elise is currently sharing the garage with gardening implements and assorted curse word, but I'll get a shed later this month and for the first time will have the garage exclusively for the car and related items.
It's only a single garage, 4.45m x 2.75m with a door at the rear on the short side. The Elise is 3.73m long and 1.85m wide (incl. mirrors) so there's not all that much space around the car but at least it is fairly high.
What would be the best way to create some storage for tools and spares? Units for the room where you do the cooking (the real word triggers a spam filter) mounted high up the wall plus a very narrow (40cm) worktop at the far end, with a tool trolley underneath? I could just put in 20cm deep shelves along the passenger side but I'd rather have something enclosed - however cooking room (beating the filter again) units are usually 30cm and rather expensive.
Would any single garage owners be prepared to share pics of their storage solutions?
