I always say “Read all the effin words” Jet lag Or more probable age lag..... Age related embarrassments consistently presenting themselves. Looking at the green wagon, the colour does not shout “Grizzify me” But I do wonder how much affordable but visually enjoyable mods one can toss at it.

The Wagon has also been up for sale for a month already starting at £425 and not selling so if really interested - MOT history looks pretty good and has ticket until next summer - you may well get that a bit cheaper than advertised. Another international road trip although getting your kicks on Route M4 in a Primera Estate does not quite have the same ring about it. Funny how obstacles get in your way...... Can only check the insurance etc on Monday with my agent. So of course I was surfing the web while Sally watched Hotel Chocolate while falling asleep. Going to see a “can be recommissioned in a weekend” Plymouth Sport Fury tomorrow. Bit of V8 and a lot of 70’s UGLEEEE.... Just the way I love it. It’s stored in a barn, apparently. Three shoddy, part body and engine bay photos drew my interest. I hear “SUCKERRRRR...!!”

117k miles 1.6 petrol..... colour not a problem, but seems an aesthetic dead end, not much mods imho to make it look as good as red or white could. Distance never bothered me, but both are a fair trek away, green one is 290 miles, to go take a look. I think they are certainly undervalued and as Darkspeed said, the green one may have been online too long, so could be had for less than the £400 It’s MOT history also tends to be pretty decent despite a few lazy owner type fails. Red one seems to have a bit of a front end history and probably needs more work for the next test.

Went to see this car this morning 1977 Plymouth Sport Fury 2 door It is almost 3 foot longer than the Blazer, but wo inches narrower. MOPAR I hear you say. 5.3 litres of V8 or 318 Cubic Inches of brute force........ But that’s not all. !!!! Real Disco Real Tackyness..... but I love it. Loooong doors. Puts the T into Tacky. Personal taste, or the lack of it... I love Vinyl roofs. Has repairable rust. That roof yes. Rear end, space was a bit tight.

The 57k ÂŁ350 P11 is not an SRi. I used to make the seats, and that's SX spec fabric. The Sri badge looks Halfords.
Still a bargain though.
