Done the welding today it had been jacked on at somepoint. Need a new battery charged it last week, then used it for work on Friday had to jump start it before work and after to get home. The battery was a used one 2 years ago when I fitted it

Time to put some mile's on it now. 👍 Cheers Col 😂 only did 656 miles between the last mot and under 600 the year before 😂 lm hoping to use it more this year but clutch is biting near the top need to get shocks, springs, lower arms and arb bushes as want to overhaul the front suspension at the same time plus power coat the subframe etc but going to do it the summer 😂 |

Sorted the near side sill rust and lip this morning then wax oiled the inside of the sill. Ordered new stainless screw, washers which have been delivered and waiting for the plastic grommets to go into sills   |

Wax oiled both sills and refitted the plastic covers so looks good again   |

This is my old car! I owned this specific vehicle for about two years between 2006 and 2008 when I was in Cambridge. I am delighted to see there is life in the old girl yet! I remember it being a bit of a crazy purchase and it required a fair bit of maintenance as well as a fair bit of petrol. Lovely chromed V6 which really growled in 2nd gear.
