Got some white paint for the alloys, ordered lime green speedline stickers for them and lime green vacuum hose has been delivered. Top of the tank is dry now   |

How easy is welding exhaust compared to bodywork? Something i have always fancied trying but not brave enough to do it.

Something i have always fancied trying but not brave enough to do it. I’m looking at early next month to have it done. I’m doing more 2mor on the car. Welding was ok on the exhaust would have been easier if I had nicer straight cuts about had some gaps to fill. Want to get this done as want to do clutch, flywheel if dmf, arb bushes and lower arms on the Gtv v6 at Easter. Plus full service, lower arms, cam belt kit, water pump, turbo and clean paint/grease pads/calipers as well on the fiat coupe After my family holiday in May I’m going to start on the 155 v6 |

Didn’t get a lot done today as only had 4 hours spare so got petrol tank reconnected, fitted new tank straps, exhaust, sorted the wiring on the engine and some more on the engine I’m thinking I might have to redo the tail pipe I got the Alfa 155 v6 out and had a look at what I need to get for it plus look at near side floor pans     |

Isn't it nice when you start putting re-furbed stuff back in! Keep up the good work. It is good Phil I did want to get the brake pipes fitted but moved the beetle & 155 v6 around in the garage as wanted to see what I still need for the 155 as it’s the next big project to sort |

Done a bit more today. Removed front discs/pads, checked that the Alfa 155 v6 discs and Vauxhall vectra calipers/pads fit. The 33 discs are solid discs  Fitted all the metal brake pipes, n/s/r wheel cylinder, fitted new connects on the temp, oil pressure sensor, max temp sensor and removed fuel filter but need new bolt for clamp |

Stickers on them now. Just need to get the tyre replaced on the fourth wheel then paint it. Plus need to ordered some more items this week for it   |
