Great job, I have serious want for one of these and it'll be twice as good with the 5 cylinder lump.

Well I lost all my motivation with the 155 after getting it running with the replacement ecu was only on 3 cylinders because 2 injectors were blocked but as I was checking coils were sparking the water pump pulley which is pushed no come off, slightly bent 2 inlet valves and 2 exhaust valves. Buying the fiat coupe 20vt few weeks ago, getting motβd and using it has got my motivation back. So valves are sorted and had the cylinder head skimmed

All back together just need 2 injectors to get it running. Need a tyre on the 16β speedline 5 spoke on Monday and battery is on charge at the moment. Today I fitted the poly engine bushes/mount, checked the injectors to find out the 2 that I thought were u/s are not working, fitted the cam cover, coils, intercooler pipes, vac pipes, coolant tank and filled the rad up with coolant

Hell yeah awesome car love 155s, and even better with the 20vT. One point of clarification in case it makes a difference. FMIC stands for 'Full Metal Intercooler', and the one you have has plastic end-caps. Normally not such a pedant, but depending on the boost level you're planning to run you might need an intercooler that's got welded ally end caps (run silly boost through a half-metal intercooler and you can pop the ends off if they're not strapped down better). If it's been sold to you as a full-metal one it's not. If all you were after was a bigger one then all's well. Doesn't overly matter if it's got plastic caps.

Does FMIC not stand for Front Mount(ed) InterCooler?

Huh, I suppose it could well do! I'd always assumed it was full-metal as the Uno Turbo one on my Fiat has a habit of popping the plastic caps off the top if you put too much boost through them so everyone talks about full-metal intercoolers. As you were everyone, carry on. Nothing to see here

I always thought it was front mount intercooler...... the Evo is a full metal one itβs used by loads of Fiat Coupe owners as a cheap way to do it. My Fiat Coupe 20v turbo has a std intercooler with plastic ends on it
