I am currently renting a council garage and we all know how limited the space is inside of these!
I'm fed up of tripping over cans of paint and having to move things before i can work on my car.
I'm after some storage ideas. I did think about buying some scaffold poles and boards and building shelving above the car so everything is out of the way.
Any other ideas?

Definitely not that. Sooner or later you WILL drop something or knock it off onto the bonnet etc

I would use those galvanized hangers and some sturdy timber to span the garage width so that floor mounted supports don't get in your way. This is assuming you are trying to create a mezzanine?

A bench across the back wall that is above boot/bonnet height to allow parking beneath, with shelves above. Ttfn Glenn
