Liking your other motors The burgundy one is stunning Thanks , of the 3 that’s the one that doesn’t need constant time, parts and effort ... even though it’s the highest mileage of them 50,000 ( to be fair it’s a lot younger also 1999 Red one 1983 White one 1971

Adapted drivers seat brackets - pics compare before/ after Now front seat is mm off cross member , about 1 1/2” lower than passenger . Leaving passenger side on standard bracket. Will post pics of newly mounted seats tomorrow

I agree with 820, it looks so much better without the spot lights. You did miss one option out though... Mini Clubman Estate UUK 239S (Mine) by Kevin Day, on Flickr My first car had square spots built into the grill, though I would have liked to have no lamps, I crashed it before I could change them.

There's got to be some literature out there somewhere. It's was done "back in the day". Probably Ford crank with mini output shaft + gear box to sump adapter= cool cool car.

Id say none, my first mini clubman est had 4 classic Lucas spotlights, and my second one and square 8's built into the grill, much like the one porche posted, they really looked the part, chrome spots in a polished grill, but your mini looks just right as it is, mabie it just needs a small lotus badge on the grill

Can lay my hands on lotus lump .... but Old engine now , parts a chew on , reliability always been an issue and power not all that great ( good torque tho) ... can do so much more with a series nowadays ( I ran an a series turbo with 171 bhp) about 10 years ago 16v heads , supercharging , old school Weber’s etc ... all great options

Seat pics as promised Lowest on brackets (still needed a tweak with angle grinder) With a bigger tweak and drilling .... lowest it can be due to cross member (driver side will not tilt now, but it’s s better trade off - keeping passenger side as 1st pic
