Recovered!!
FOUND IT! THE INTERNET WINS!! Thank you SO MUCH to Terry Roots for finding it and Andrew Turner who shared the post! It was parked on a street undamaged 20 minutes away in Carshalton - front tyres let down and a steering lock put on it!!! Unbelievable news, the car world is truly staggering sometimes, and the power of the internet wins!!!

Excellent result. Intrigued by the tactic of putting a steering lock on it and letting down the tyres, possibly to make it look broken down but cared for to arouse less suspicion?

Yeah, curious right? I guess you're right though - it looks unloved but owned. Actually a little disconcerting. Steering lock is one thing but imagine if it was a wheel clamp or similar that stops the vehicle being recovered swiftly forcing it to be in the location longer Although to put a positive spin on it, if you found a knowingly stolen car unlocked by the road side I'd imagine putting a steering lock on it and then contacting the owner/leaving a note/calling the Police would probably/possibly prevent the vehicle being moved again before the chance for recovery.....
