I'm trying to get hold of some EV bits.
Nissan Leaf's etc. tend to get assigned a Cat B marker for even minor damage, so there is a fair few of them at decent rates going through the likes of Copart etc.
Unfortunately, there is no way for a private individual to buy a Cat B from them, and EV's are specifically excluded from their in-house "Pick a part" service.
So in essence I'm looking to try and find an ATF/scrapyard where I can have the Cat B shipped from Copart for them to destroy/strip/scrap the car once I've taken the electric bits out of it... Otherwise I don't see any way of how to get my hands on the bits out of a Cat B electric car. Suggestions welcome!
