what realistically is my mk2 escort worth? looking into selling it very very soon, combination of lack of time, funds needed elsewhere, and just life / growing up and thinning my fleet down! (damn that's one combination ey?)
looks ratty exterior wise to be fair it is ratty but has good floors, sills and rear end /arches.
under the bay is fully done, good and solid.
it starts and runs, brakes fully bled/really good a firm, suspension all connected , never had it out or ran in yet, and also does need a full re wire, and opbviously if the new owner wants needing exterior bodywork.
comes with 4 immaculate complete doors, and a good dash loom also, and a box of bits also so it should soften the blow surely?

UK RHD 1977 spec early car.
st170 engine - good lump runs like a dream 72,000 miles before removal from focus.
full Retro ford RWD kit. this is not cheap , consists of sump,water rail, flywheel, clutch, hoses, alternator conversion, starter etc etc
jenvey 45 throttle bodies with new seals with jenvey inlet.
grp4 ally rad
sytec fuel pump, pressure regulator, mocal high pressure fuel hose and hardline used, all tucked
new piper stainless exhaust manifold, with matching system also, modified also by myself to tuck up to the floor even more so.
emerald K6 ecu, retains full VVT control for the st170.
typ 9 5 speed, quickshift
new prop
standard rear axle open diff
new wilwood m16 4 pot caliper kit !
new kunifer lines through out
custom tucked braided hoses
new gartrac pedal box
new gartrac 2.9 quick rack with new TRE's
new roller bearing top mounts
new gaz 2.25" front coilvers and rear shocks
red interior , 3 spoke wheel,etc
genuine mexico steels , near new tyres
that's briefly .. done so much more but honestly what price factoring in what it needs doing to it and what it comes with shall I be asking?
Is 6.5k/7k unreasonable for a car of this spec ?
