This is a bit hard for me as some of the cars and bikes I've sold over the years are now worth a fortune
So do I regret selling them because of there value or because I really liked them
TVR cerbera: bought it when it was only 3 years old as a right off with 10k on the clock one lady owner
Great fun never went wrong in the 3 years I owned it and I abused it every time it went out done the cannonball run in it done drift club with it etc etc I never even changed the oil in it (sold it 12 years ago)
BUT if I still owned it now whilst it would be worth twice as much i would have had to put some big money into it by now to keep it on the road clutch/engine rebuild/new chassis/diff all common faults all expensive
So as much as I loved that car I'm not bothered I sold it
1993 Lada riva: swopped it for a mk1 golf I was given so didn't cost me anything
Only 11k miles on it Tax'd mot'd and mint totally rust free
drove it about till the tax run out kept it at work for 6 months till they noticed it and I had to move it but I didn't have anywhere to keep it
So. It ended up getting scrapped
That to me was the one that got away "gutted"
1977 mini clubman estate (turbo)
Bought it when I was 17 owned it for 22 years but the company I was working at went bust and I was out of a job and couldn't pay the garage rent so I had to sell it and all the spare parts I had built up in that time
So another one I miss but mainly due to there now value
There has been others but if I'm honest with myself as much as I regret selling them I probably sold them at the right time
Quick list of bikes for the bike people
All I wish I still had
Kawasaki KR1S
Max biaggi chesterfield Aprilia RS250
1992 fireblade (39th one built)
KTM 660 supercomp
TL1000R
All mint low mileage bikes real collectors stuff
There are other bikes I've sold and regret for different reasons like being great fun etc
