oooo i'm liking the look of the F100. What is the front end setup to get it that low? My mate has a set of dream beams he is putting on the front of his to get it to sit like yours. The back end has an axle flip and is sitting 1 inch from the bump stops. So he is making his mind up currently as to whether to notch the chassis or flip the axle back over and then not lower the front... So many decisions. Thanks.
That's Interesting as I'm going through the same thoughts myself...
The front of mine has the coils cut, that's it. This messes up the camber and as I said before has put it on the bump stops… I have been thinking of getting some dream beams which I think are a 3" drop, and I may cut a tiny bit off the coils (new coils, not my existing ones obviously).
The rear of mine is the same as your mates - the axle has been flipped, so virtually on the bump stops. I was thinking of putting the axle back under the springs and getting 4" drop shackles. I have decided not to notch the chassis to keep everyone happy.
Where did your mate get his dream beams? If he decides not to use them, il buy them! Is he on RR?
Yeah that sounds like a smart plan. I'll give him a nudge and see what he is doing. He shipped them in from Summit Racing I think. Had them a few years, but they are still mint and in a box in his garage. He's not on here, doesn't do much in the way of forums so i'll drop him a line and see what he says.

Love what you managed to do, doing the seats.
Did you buy a new industrial machine, or second hand, and it is industrial or domestic?

My van got broken into a few years ago and all my (expensive) tools were taken and I replaced them with a van full of cheap tools - I ended up giving these away and went out and bought good quality again so I ended up buying twice. Since then I have always bought the best I can afford at the time.
You can get some very good second hand industrial walking foot machines though, the old Juki's are really great engineered pieces.

Let me be one of the first to say, I am really gutted for you.
They are more loyal than family, ask little more than anything but you love and company.
I will miss Harley one day.

I'm dreading my dog dying, she is only about 8 or 9 so not imminent, but knowing it will have to happen one day is horrible. I guess its the price we pay for dog (and cat) ownership.
All we can do is make it as pain free as possible with the least amount of suffering.

So sorry to hear about your loss, they really are part of the family and I know the pain that you’re going through and all I can say is that you will miss him forever but the heartache does get easier to live with. Ps he looks very proud and handsome and I bet he had a great Life with you and your family.

As ive probably said before I don't keep cars very long, I get to a point and it just feels right to move them on...so a few final jobs to do prior to sending off the paperwork to get a V5. @spookytim2 or @thunderthighs or whatever his name is now took on the challenge of templating for the side windows and making sure they would wind up and down nicely. A few other small jobs (which I cant actually remember what now) were completed and all paperwork was sent to DVLA - I included some photos of the truck and its vital numbers to see whether this would alleviate the need for an inspection.
Wait a few weeks and run to the door every time the postie comes.
Including the photos didn't make a difference as i had a letter asking me to call SGS for an inspection. When my time came, the nice guy spent all of 3 minutes looking at the truck, took the same photos as I had previously provided and went on his merry way.
A week and half later, BINGO, V5 drops through the door, wooohooo. I had no reason to worry but I do tend to over worry about anything and everything.
So the truck will be up for sale, included in the sale will be a 327ci small block chevy v8 engine, a 4 speed manual gearbox and a 10 bolt rear end, so someone will have a nice little winter project.
Once it sells I will throw some money at my F100, which I plan to keep for a good while and just enjoy it. It only really needs bolt on parts so shouldn't be too taxing as I need to concentrate more of my time to home stuff for the foreseeable future, so the F100 will suit me well. I may have already spent some of the truck sale money on a locker for the rear end of the Effie (so I can leave 11's as opposed to 1's) ooops. A pic or 2 in a min.
