no problem , the car is far from finished. there are a LOT of small bits and pieces. I don't know when it will be finished. I hope in the summer it will be drivin.

to start the car, i needed to unseize the calipers and pads from the rotors.  a hammer was needed.   fuel filter also got clooged up:  after a successful ride, i decided to tidy up the interior. steel parts of the seats were removed:   and galvanized :  installed:  also, i noticed that i never touched the ash tray. I pulled it out and daaaamn :  dissmantled :  after galvanizing :  and voila: puuurdy   also , found a person who has the horn button for the wheel, so i decided to fix the horn. i got no power on the ring on the wheel :  removed the wheel , and found the fault , the ring was so dirty , it didnt conduct +12v .. cleanded , lubricated it and got power. how , to fix the horns in the engine compartment and voila...  |

sitnice iz belgije aquired some parts from belgium :  installed :  interior bitzzzz :  the horn :  horn doesnt work , horns have power, so it must be the problem with the fact they were in the sea : :   some bling :   only silver wheel on the car..got a gold treatment :  looks prittier. when the new tyres are aquired , the wheels will be powercoated. aquired the vent. it is bigger, lighter and needs less power than the original...  installed :  brakes are really giving me a hard time. started to dissasemble all of it, found that rubber hoses are clogged and calipers are seizing...  nice logo  rusttttty....  more rust :  all the bits removed, and planing to galvanize them :  new brake hoses with braided teflon and rubber protection :  wheel bolts looking purdy after galvanizing:  clealning the calipers :  how it looks all installed..  some testing reqired..  |

no worries, I love wasting time and money on lost causes  like from this :  to this :  I have no words - literally none!!!!! Nice work on the Fulvia a house mate years ago had one and I got to drive it a few times and it was a really good fun drive |

really great work on that Fulvia...love the look of these cars and their Alfa cousins.
the gold wheels suit the car nicely.
cant believe how good the wheel bolts look with some galvanizing....

the handbrake doesnt work. to repair it, I need to remove the disc . but it is hold by special nuts and the tool costs 50 euros. to much for just two bolts... the tool :  i decided to make the tool, this is the sketch..  the sketch looks horrible because I don't use my engineering skills that often and it has past 9 years since finnishing my robotics masters .So i decided to do it in a cad program. found the logo as a vector picture , so i converted it do a cad drawing so I could cut it on a friends waterjet. Plan is to make the tool in steel , and the sign in aluminium or Stainless and install it in the dash as original.  the tool is cut :  how it fits onto the braker bar :  fits snuggly on the nut :  it is going out:  noice and rusty:  disc is finally off. i plan on dismantling it all , fixin the seized parts, galvanizing it all , painting the metal and lubricating the bearing and till the end off the week the handbrake will work hopefully.  |

bearing doesnt budge, 20ton press didnt make him move...  so I cleaned all off it, doesnt have any pitting and packed fresh grease in i :  started sanding the bits for paint:  some bits of the handbrake housing and the adjuster are just nasty.... painted with 2k acryl :  galvanised:  even the nuts of the hub are galvanised :  assembled, the pads are old , and it is very nice contrast xD  handbrake now works flawlessly, catches on the third teeth. awesome opposum. |

some kids camed to watch the car, broke the sun visor. it was weak anyhow, but i tried and succeded to find the hinges for it for 4 ł. broken:   good wans :  polished the metal parts, installed them and no problems any more . needed to fix the non working lights and indicators, found that the stalks are the fault. sea water didnt help , and they looked corroded anyhow :  removal :  some pieces I galvanized :  the stalks were cleaned, lubricated, assembled...  installed and working :  I need to fix the front left indicator on the bumper and that would be it . |

finally repaired the engine, it wasnt the bad piston rings or the valve seats, the problem was much more simpler, and i needed a nudge in the right direction, which happened when the car mixed petrol and oil. I thought it was the fuel pump.. but it wasnt... dirty oil pan , cleaned the entire engine from inside.  inside the valve cover :  engine is clean :  cleaned the oil pan , on the iron part you can se where the sea water was before :  on this picture you can se the hint. the distributor cap had the wrong firing order. it was 1324 on the cap. but lancia is 1342, and noticed that when I had the top dead center on 2 but firing was on 4. switched the cables on the cap , frash oil and voila :  car runinng for the first time as it should after some driving noticed the smoke under the hood. old cork vvalve gasket leaked badly, and new gasket would be long to wait and still crapy cork.. so I decided to make a new improved gasket sits flush :  the engine is finally done. |
