Well tomorrow morning I get to stand in a queue that stinks of curse word That's all the info packs and paddock passes for Morning, Afternoon and Guests It's official I am now counting sleeps Been counting for at least a fortnight now... Journey begins tomorrow via Chopper for the first 100km... then the border crossing from hell ... then ... actually.. don't make me think about the rest. Roll on arriving Friday night!

I treated myself in readiness! <Snip> I miss my original Simpson Bandit - one of the best helmets I've ever had (along with Arai Supervent) They've started making them again (not UK legal still but meets higher stds but fails UK test cos it might break the odd nose) The image for me for early 80's motorcycle Hooligan - DM's, Jeans, Simpson Bandit and a 350 LC

Ahhh, they were the days.

I only had one stinkwheel... It was an enjoyable shed and fell apart every time I thought it was a good idea to use it for my 120 mile commute to Camden

Here is me in 1982 I was -3 then. I liked the AR back in the day, but was always a Yamaha man. I started off on a brand new DT50MX but when that got pinched I went RD50E, with ace bars, Allspeed and 2/4 seat. I also had an AP50 and an SS50 5 speed, which was soooooo sloooooooow! My RD50 also had a TY80 barrel and piston. Such fun. Sadly I have no pics from those days though.

Unfortunately my spot is to be passed onto reserve. 3 late nights on it clawing to get it done but electrical problems with 1am brain was the last straw. Figured as most people would be camping now/shortly best to post here, will confirm when I arrive tomorrow too. bstardchild

RRG18 was my first visit to a Retro Rides event but I'm now hooked! Just wondering - what qualifies a car as a 'Guest' car? I have a Ginetta G20 Coupe race car that I'd love to take up the hill next year but it's never been on the road

Ohh, I'd definitely be up for that in the Volvo
