Hi, looking for some advice, preferably from experience but I'll take whatever is offered.
Tomorrow I'm viewing a car for sale locally. Seller apparently bought it last week only to find it won't fit in his garage. As such he's looking to shift it in favour of something smaller.
Currently he only has the New Keeper slip. My question then is how to tax a newly bought car in this situation. DVLA advice on their website is not to buy a car without a V5, and my instinct is to wait until it turns up, but it would be good to know if there's a workaround just in case.
Thanks
(And yes, I will be taking a tape measure and asking to see this 'too small garage'.)
(And if anyone can tell me what PFA means in a car ad on Facebook that would be lovely.)
