roof rack and luggage that looks older than the car...WHY  ? IMHO it look really rather silly  sure, it'd work with aircooled but not something produced in tha late seventies. (and i used to own the same model, '78 GL with chrome bumpers, all original) |

The golf is cool but illustrates the point that when you want to modify one, you just copy someone elses.

I'm loving that Golf, but then again I'm on a bit of an early Golf thing at the moment (I blame Nik Konhauser's Mk1 GLS turbo as featured in this month's The Golf mag - dribble). Yeah I appreciate it's all been done before - but when it looks that good I don't mind! As for the Cherry, I'm demanding someone does that soon! |
