No. No we are not. However, I begrudgingly have to admit, the buggy is awesome. We'll have to see how the MX5 Baja (a.k.a broken MX5) fairs this year...I'm thinking breaking down in the Chunnel on a busy Le Mans weekend causing massive problems for everyone else. So remember his name people. And throw things. ^^^ while this is all true, his coolest ride currently cuts grass... (Although I do want one)

You have a fantastic taste in cars!
Buggy looks awesome! Realy hoping to get my father in laws on the road next year, heโs had it from brand new (as a Beetle) and converted it many many years ago. Iโd like to think Iโd have to balls to undertake a similar trip one day!

Well, I promised myself, no more bookmarks until I'd done a cull. Just goes to show how weak willed I am. Or how stunning the BB is! Did Le Mans many years on the bounce, although all my motors had windscreens. Fantastic trips, happy memories.

Found this thread via the link on your Bajastard MX-5 build (which was bonkers enough).
Had to laugh at the story of your maiden voyage round the M25 in the buggy - done that in a buggy with no mirrors - simultaneously terrifying and exciting :-)
You're a brave man driving a buggy all the way to Le Mans, looked like fun though and I'm tempted to do similar in mine now.#
Great to see another local buggy.

Currently driving a '68 Karmann Ghia as my daily. Don't ask about previous cars - there have been way too many and I stopped counting at 160!

Thanks bud! Le Mans was an epic journey! My tips would be: Make sure it's all working, book reasonable weather (not torrential rain, and definitely not 30 degree scorchfest), don't go the long way down - 15 hours is a LOOOOOOONG drive without a windscreen. In the wet. With 2.5 cylinders out of 4. Would love to see your buggy in the flesh!!
