	hello all I bought a portable gas hot water system. It runs great. Hot water plenty buuuut only from the mains water. Not hand as my next trip will be about 3500Km and my hose is only 75 meters...... So I thought a watertank on the roof will gravity fed my hot water system. I does but the pressure is to low to get it going. I need at a minimum 0.3mpa or 43 psi. I can buy a 60W 12V 80PSI (0.8mpa) pump on eBay for a few dollars. My plan is ; Tank ....little length of garden hose to pump...little length of garden hose to hot water system....Is this the right set up? Thanks a lot

	Sounds ok, make sure the pump is rated for the flow you want as well as the pressure tho.

	Mount your water tank as low as possible, half full tanks slosh about and mounted on the roof would make driving a horrible experience, possibly could even cause a rollover Ttfn Glenn

	If you use a pump you can put the tank anywhere.

	Not something I've tried but it will need a hefty pump to get volume of water at pressure (a windscreen washer pump gives high pressure but low volume etc) Make sure you don't get a flat battery if you're using a big powerful pump with the engine turned off. Google says your tank would need to be 100+ feet above the plump to give 45psi www.convertunits.com/from/psi/to/foot+of+head
