AAAAAHHH it'a an automatic. Yes, BUT- It's a 6R80. It has electronic controls. You can set your shift points, add flappy paddles on the steering wheel, select different modes- sport, race, etc; It's fully tuneable and these gearboxes are awesome. It's not the typical slushbox, these boxes rock. |

True- for fun, the manuals are AWESOME. The older guys that drive these things, like the automatics. These 6R80 units really are insane, what they're capable of. And unless I'm channeling the world famous drag racer John Force- this thing shifts faster and more smoothly than I can with a stick. (for reference, MY daily driver is a 6spd Manual) lol

It is IN. Sitting on the mounts, bolted in place! There was welding, measuring, an oil relocation kit for the oil filter- still plenty of room! This thing has such a LOW center of Gravity that it is going to handle like a proper race car. I feel very lucky to be able to assemble something like this.  |

I'll get some pics of that oil relocation kit- You move the filter anywhere you want. It's great. I might be only a couple weeks away from starting this thing. Oh, did I mention I picked up a V8- 1965 CHEVY (that's right) Short bed Stepside, Four Speed Manual pickup truck the other day? It's a buddies truck- sat for 17 years. Not for long...   |

The engine & trans in the Studebaker is from a 2017 Mustang. The Chevy- it's a budget build, "Just get it back on the road, as cheaply as possible". So that's what I will try and do. It's got an engine & box in it- but the engine is full of water... Should be a fun one!

It's a fuel cell alright- It must run on hydrogen derived from water! I pulled the dipstick and the only thing that was on it? Good old H2O.
The Floor of the Studebaker, I got a lot finished on the truck- I call it "Fox Baker". Because the Mustang Fox Body doesn't get enough love, but I like em. So when I hear the word FOX, I think Mustang. It's a Studebaker, so to make it easy on the files, folders, uploads etc; it's garage name is Fox Baker. lol
The guy that owns it? His initials are "GT". It's the GT truck or Fox Baker haha
I guess I have a Mustang GT...
Psshh.. It's off to bed- I'm tired!
