the idea of having to put these together from actual ads or listed prices seems not to have caught on so why not. Because it becomes too much realistic and digging around for for sale kit is dangerous! D OK i'll blame it on you ;D cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=190147456124Finshed up at £1600 this one ts got the 5 Litre so thats good yeah, oh maybe not theresa 5.7 lets see if I can find one... No there wasn't one Ohh this was local and didnt meet reserve at 3k kind confirming car price would be somewhere between 1-4k It would have to go stop handle well enough, so new bits would be nessesary, quite old now, and cosmetics are a must, so its fair to say that £5k would easyly get spent by teh time I start choosing a colour even if its a DIY one. specially as i'll probably yog about £1k on wheels!! It must happen this one though seriously...one day there will be aspace on the belt one day. for now i'll enjoy my RHD toys... EDIT: BTW it might have to be black they just look right

5k was the budget i gave myself to buy and do up with Manta in my sig.
That money included - the car - new paint job - custum sound system install - shag pile carpet - new aloy wheels
And i pretty much managed it ;D

Alright then Desired successful bid is : £2,561 page7.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/g46371825Its in Tokyo so I can probably get someone to get it to the docs for me. I'll use the RoRo service that Eddie mentioned before.. so call it £3,500 landed I'll allow £700 for suitable wheels and tyres, can get slots cheaply, but I like to keep my options open. £800 to sort the suspension out ,.. and grinders don't cost that much

Damn this thread! I was researching a post on an RX7 and seeing if I could get a peripheral ported engine into the mix for the money, then got sucked into a 19 long page technical thread on making your own peripheral ports with the housings on the engine to start with! That was lunch time, and Ive only just re-emerged from the web and STILL don't have a post for this thread LOL.

Decided to be a bit more realistic this time ^_^ 1 cheap capri that needs a bit of welding underneath=£350Engine wise i'd nab this and remove any restrictive curse word. Bidding is currently at £311, so it's a steal. 24V ScorpioThe rest would go towards an MT75 'box, better brakes, limited slip diff, suspension set up from here, new 'zorst system, 15" steels in black, Nimbus Grey paint and consumables. There is a twinturbo supra lump w/slushbox on pistonheads atm, but its £2000

id keep the fez, and complete my plans for it.
de-rot the whole thing, keeping it all stell of course. xr2 lump, highly tuned and turbo'd - £1k respray in same, but better condition colours ,also spray the stripes on the side instead of stickers - £ 1k, i don't really know race suspension - gaz - £500 roll cage and other race stuff - £1k 8x13 superlights + cut slicks, to keep this a road legal hillclimber - £800
spend rest on petrol driving everywhere and destroying expensive cars off the lights

2-door Chevette - £500 HSR kit - £800ish Volvo 'box, 240 axle, redblock, headwork, internals, ECU and turbot - £1,500-2,000 Cage, seats, harnesses - £500 (second hand) Rear end work....How much does Gery at RM charge for porn like Dom's Kadett? *n About £1200 for the 4 linking with the custom body boxes and panels etc...... ;D Could be less if you don't want "The Porn" and just want body boxes/diff tunnel ;D
