This has missed it altogether I think This is really not too bad for a modern SUV, (neither of these things being welcome here) To me it appears to be both snarling and squinting angrily, which I find perversely appealing, but not enough to buy one! The "Demon" is just out of proportion, it seems too tall for it's wheels and width, try channeling about 4" out between the door handles and the body swage line and moving the wheel arches up a bit.

Not sure if this is an ugly duckling per se but I think it probably comes under 'blandest model by a marque'. Maybe that needs to be another thread? Probably, but I'll add it here as I just don't know what VW were thinking in the time between their discontinuing the fantastic little Lupo and launching the Up! which is obviously the true Lupo Mkii Anyway - I bring you the Fox which came out in-between them. ![](https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/1/1d/VW_Fox_1.4_Reflexsilber.JPG) You probably never noticed it because it's the beigest, blandest, milque-toastiest, vanilla-iest, meh, most un-memorable appliance car ever to roll out of Wolfsburg. It's like someone who'd been allowed to see a Passat once got the job of badge engineering a 90s Hyundai. I know, "E. H. P!" you all cry... I'm sure someone in Austria probably did something cool with one once for the Woerthersee tour but factory? Even a Hotpoint fridge is more memorable.
