Chaps I’m looking at sharing a unit/barn around the Notts, Derby or North Leics area.
I’m Long Eaton area so anywhere fairly local would be a bonus and even better if nearer Derby way.
It’s just way too expensive to look at renting on my own and if anyone is looking to share a unit or even if there’s a few of us that are interested then I’m all ears.
I’m time served on the spanners in my early 40’s and have petrol in my veins so I’m always willing to offer a helping hand.
My younger brother runs a used car business near Derby and is always looking for extra space to store vehicles so there’s potential to claw some money back charging him storage space rent on top if needed etc

Eyup Nick, keep me in mind if you do find anything as I'm up the road in Ilkeston! I have been watching out for years but no luck so far.

Might have a barn lead from a friend of my wife’s who is in horse and stables circles etc so I’m hoping that might be suitable once I get more info. Cheers Nick |

Never seen much around long Eaton ended up with small lock up.
Might be interested as no space to work on car in lock up

Aup guys,
I'm based in Loughborough and work in Sandiacre! I'm going to be moving to Clifton soon.
Don't want to make it awkward in any way, but if there's room for 1 more, then I'd almost certainly be interested.
Just got into my late 20's, been working on cars for around 10 odd years in my spare time. Mostly self taught with the help of my old man. I'm always willing to lend a helping hand. I work mainly on hatchbacks so wouldn't take up too much space if we needed to share the space simultaneously..

Nothing suitable has surfaced yet.
Still got the feelers out so something is bound to come up eventually.
What I have discovered though is it’s just simple luck being in the right place at the right time.
People that I know who do have units say the waiting lists are huge and unless you want to spend big bucks on rent there’s not really much out there.

Try Salterford Farm, Whinbush Lane, nr Calverton, NG14 6PE the farmer, Keith, may have storage units free? Its a bit far for Long Eaton or Ilkeston, I travel from Beeston and that's plenty far enough There's a place called Draycott Bug Barn, there may be further space in that complex, I think you can find them on Facebook |

I tried Keith last year and he didn't have anything, looks ideal though tbf.
Although I haven't been actively looking I'm always on the look-out for garage space with always buying wheels, cars or something motor related.
Like the above I'm willing to chip in and if I'm about more than happy to help out, been working on cars for a long while and would keep some tools there, which would be available to use.
