OMG! I live around 3 miles from theese very cars! The reason they're there is that he wouldnt take a lower price for them and just let them rot. Theyres alot of Mk2 Cavvys there too. Whats the story there, did you guys buy some of them? |

Use the diesel for washing your kegs in. The diesel will lubricate the cotton fibres and make them last longer although your nads will honk of diesel. Also don't use red diesel for this for obvious reasons. |

I still think it has a rover sd1 influence, the doors and the quarter panels and the rear lights for definate. Also if sd1 based it would more than likley be a v8 which could explain the exhaust. Bryan The exhaust is a Monza 4-tip, an common aftermarket exhaust for aircooled VWs  More usually found on campers but my ex's 1303 beetle had one on, they just bang on the valance a bit on Beetles. not if your valance fits right they don't. ;D and to fit em to a bus you have to modify the rear engine mount. not sure if you do on the newer exhausts tho ,,, ive seen loads of em on bugs |

Heres a local one to me, its been in that very spot for 5 years that I know of. Anyone know what it is ?? If someone wants it i'll ask if its for sale as I walk past it every day at the mo.    |

Here's one I snapped in 2006, Mustang convertible. Undoubtably still there.. It was in a village in Sussex. I knocked on the door , and a lady answered.. Before I even opened my mouth she said in a slightly annoyed voice 'its not for sale' and promptly closed the door.  |

I think that Mustang used to be on a driveway in a side streen in Moston, Manchester.
I saw it a few years back and it was very 'not for sale' then too. Then it vanished.
If it is the same one they must have taken it with them, which is crazy. It probably isn't the same one, as the effort to move such a hulk but not carry out any work on it is crazy.
Still, it might be. Y'never know.

 I'll claim my £5 (or sad B*stard award) for the door in the background - its from a Sunbeam Stiletto (its an Imp Coupe door without any sidetrim, hence Stiletto...). (BTW - I may know someone who would be interested in purchasing that door if the bottom is more ferrous than oxide... let me know). Oh and the yellow bit was once an important bit of a Tina Mk3 wow.. thats the back end of my old car! (in the back end of my yard  ) and you may be right about the stiletto door. there is a 50/50 chance its an imp californian door with the side trim removed though I did have both in the same colour a while back.The bike was a BSA A50 and the ammo box is empty (honest) I wonder if that pile of wood is still there? I'm going to look as soon as it gets light. |

WTF is that last one?? 8 wheels?? Looks like somebody finished a scrapheap challenge motor then scrapped it...... Is it something to do with towing boats? I notice an RNLI logo.

It was one of the vehicles that was used in that weak-ass Scrapheap Challenge wannabe program with Henry Rollins and that annoying bird. Filmed in the bollom of a cooling tower in an old power plant. Here are a couple of lorries off Anglesey they have both been there for years and are not alone, the 8 wheeler is very rare, only the second known example in the UK she is a Seddon DD8 and the other is an AEC Merury. Andy.   where abouts in angelsey were these? |
