/\ Don't fully agree - if you pay eBay prices for everything, then yes you have a point. However, if you prize yourself away from the computer screen you will be amazed as to how cheap some project cars can be had for. Do the work yourself and you know its been done properly, unlike a large number of "restored" cars seen on the web with pretty paint and shed-loads of filler hiding behind it...
Plus, finding a rare car that needs work and getting it back on the road is cool hobby. And a hobby shouldn't really make any sense to outsiders...
Just my opinion! :-)

i have to agree with Impman. plenty of projects still sitting in garages, on driveways and in gardens. turn off the PC and get out and talk to the owners, cheap projects are everywhere, you just need to know where to look and how to approach the owners

Few more Ive found on my travels Morris Minor van/pickup with no rear section, been here at least 17 years now. So overgrown they have barely come out, no idea how long they have been here but they are blocked in my huge trees now so I'm guessing 25 years plus. No idea Renualt 12

jump in it, give it a sharp tug from the right and free wheel down the rest of the hill........unless of course it isn't a hill but a sheer drop ;D I would guess it wasn't like that for too long, a bit of rain would see that slide easily!

I'm trying to make enquires as to its future...the problem is that I was a bit giddy when i found it and didn't pay any attention to what the company was called! I've tried Google mapping it but its no help!
Back over for another visit it is then!

Back on page 213, Reply #4245 that white thingy poking out from under a blue tarp is a Sylva Jester. It's a Mk1 Fiesta-based kitcar, usually a barrel of laughs for little money. If it's abandoned, some door-knocking could get you a whole heap of laughs for low rent. GRP bodywork over box-section chassis with cheap mechanicals - what could possible go wrong!!
