	IIRC that modern Ferrari in Matt's pics (550 Maranello?) used to belong to one of Saddam Hussein's sons. Love all the people stealing bits off it - it was probably the only one in the country. Maybe there's a load of dusty Ferrari bits on Dubai ebay! Saddam had a private collection of classics, the US army decided to crush them all with Tanks rather than sell them/auction them off for charities....... I won't make any comments as I normally like Americans!

	Yes the ferrari belonged to one of Husseins sons. I read Saddams collection of classics were destroyed because the Yanks were afraid they would later fall into the hands of insurgents and be used as car bombs. I'm pretty sure some very very rare cars were saved though. I was horrified when I heard about it but better they be crushed than used to kill and maim. They would probably have been stripped to death before they could be retrieved anyway. Anybody north of Norwich? Theres a small village called Stratton Stawless thats got a couple of retro scrapyards. I saw a Hunber Hawk as I drove past in my lorry. I thought I was going back the next day so I didnt take pics, Alas I didnt go back!

The wonderful Medlers was there (not sure if the remnants of it still open at the weekend, they did a few years ago even when the amazing main yard and woods were cleared). Just up the road from that there is/was Ace which had a wall of cars in which we found a 240C and a 120A coupe, and another yard next to that, then the other side of the A140 there’s Hainford Hall. Mostly salvage stuff there though.

	Does any know anything about/have pictures of a yard called Priors, in Yaxham in Norfolk IIRC... it was featured in Classic and Sportscar magazine years ago. They had the contract for clearing the scrap from all the USAF bases, and the place was full of 50's American cars... I'm guessing it's been cleared long ago...

	Finaly got my self a scanner! Got loads of abandoned photos, but they are a few years old and in Norway. Will post more, maybe. Barndoors anyone? Funny how these where scrap 10 years ago, and a tressure (if you find one!) today!
