I have been trying to find this thread on VZi all night, don't know if it is a repost if so, sorry, but I think it is as cool as!!!!! Check it out I live in Kolding (where the dealership is) and discovered it the other day (same day this thread was posted in fact - strange coincidence, but I'd gone to bed by then) whilst on a bike ride. I was well excited! Odd thing is this place is still functioning as an Iveco truck dealership - a couple of new ones parked outside and servicing and whatnot still done. I did a bit of googleing in Danish about it - in 1981 Fiat no longer wanted him to have the car part of the business but he kept the trucks. The law regarding emissions changed so he was no longer able to sell that cars as new, so he just paid the tax on them and kept them, many of them only with delivery mileage. A lot of the other cars that were there are part exes Anyway, like the PC site says, the guy died recently and his son is now selling off all the cars, If anyone's interested I could use my best broken Danish to get in touch Some more pics here that give you a beter idea of the sheer amount of cars there: smaabilklubben.dk/Mappe%20gar...e_hos_lars.htmincluding one with a 60s fastback (I think, you can't really see the back) and some pics from Auto Bild which were left out fo the PC feature www.autobild.de/mmg/mm_bilder...l?tab=0&page=0

Amazing, I was in the process of buying that model in the late 70's from a car sales in Andover, red one it was..they had a mysterious fire a day after i looked at it, cooked it and several other cars plus the office it was a runner and mot'd and i think about £400.00.

Delahaye 148 ?? Needs saving badly, what a car ! 135m 1947 Have I not seen a similar Delahaye before? On the rear cover of Duran Duran's first album (only if you've got it on 12" of course!). Nice one though. ;D

This has been sitting round the back of a shipping company in Felixstowe for a while now, in very poor condition but I'm told it's rare and worth alot of money, anyone know what it is? Badge on the grille says Delahaye Which shipping company? You should let the Delahaye club know about it, maybe they could rescue it? It has to be worth 100-150k when its restored.

Next up is this BMW e28 525i this has sat for as long as I can remember in Blackheath S.E London Then we have this 74 Mk1 Golf still has the chrome bumpers!! been here about 20 years located near Hanger Lane NW London. Ive enquried so many times about this but the house looks abanded?? Saw this Thundebird in NW London again looks like its been caged in with metal posts cemented in the ground must be a garden ornament?? Then we have another early Starion this located off the top end of Kilburn NW London? I will be keeping my eyes peeled for more watch this space ;D

Shame you didnt get a result on the 635,great cars. Looks pretty clean under the muck and dust too. DVLA say date of liability 01/11/09,so its not long out of tax or SORN has lapsed.

maybe the bollards went in because he was crossing the footway illegally (without a purpose built crossing) either that or to stop the travellers nicking it!!

Love this thread, looking back through the last couple of years I've got a few pics off my phone of local disasters and a couple of minters: Cortina estate used to be parked in a shed when I was younger (I'm 21 now) and it outlasted the shed lol. We were driving past in a storm when I was 8 and we saw it collapse onto it - thats the car as it stands now: Local Beaut: Trans-am has been moved about the local air-field the past 5 years (The airfield is now home to Ken block and the Ford M-sport team): Success story here. Knew of a MK1 local in a farm last year, bought it for £320 only needing a sill, sold it on for X amount after a bit of fettling: 1.9 GTI with front pod, stripped interior harnesses and bucket seats. Has sat here for over 5 years I'm led to believe. Shame as it had just been sprayed too. I believe its on carbs too which makes it a real waste. I fancy it myself tbh: Same mate owns this Mk2 with 10,000 miles on the shell and a burton power high tuned engine. Stripped it 6 years ago o paint, realised it didnt need any welding and hasnt put it back together since Tons more where these came from! Jordan
