How good are those last set from Mat? ;D Anyway, here's what rolled up on the back of a low loader at Ringway where I was having thee shitroen valeted... Twas a Jag XJSC, 3.6, rusty as hell, but a manual box. Has been sat for years when the bloke who owned it finally wanted shut, probably in the frag at Davidson's (Altrincham) now but I know the driver kept the wheels and the O \ S door mirror looked pretty straight. And I thought manual box Jags were rare (although the 3.6 engine can be picked up for pennies so I'm told). Ring up J Davidson scrappies if you want more info on that one. Pics....

Seen this multiple times whilst on walks in t'countryside, finally got round to attempting to take a pic: You can just about see an old Land Rover embedded in the bushes. I didn't go for a closer look because the house whose garden this belongs to is occupied, and I don't go tresspassing anymore. That said, I've always wanted a Landie, so maybe one day when I've got the space and money, I may well go door knocking to see if it has a price...

Down here in OZ Scrap has hit huge prices because the chinese can't get enough,Yolou could get that thing running ansd pick up abandoned cars, sell them to shredders by the ton and make money. It's big bucks here because they advertise FREE REMOVAL and I know more than guy who have imported used Japanese tow trucks because of the demand.

Many years ago I changed my driving style to cope with rising fuel prices; I have now reached the stage where I am contemplating keeping my eyes shut in order to lower wind resistance.

A couple I came across on a random country mission: Ehoa Bro!! the Ponti was rare car in NZ when New! .I had a mate who had convertible of the same year which featured in the New Zealand Movie.." the Runaway" . Made a long time ago mind you! I would say that number plate is original too,CH series were issued in 1964 I think. PS,I get a bit Nostalgic for the NZ countryside when i see that overgrowth...better than the dried up curse word here... ;D ;D

Cheating a bit: Bottom one's mine that I've sold and then bought the top two. (Can I sell the plate from the top one or does it need to be taxed/tested to do that?) This is at the same location but too far gone to have transported across.

It's a Holden. An FJ I think.
There's one in the UK definitely that I know of, it's fitted with smoothes and a Rover V8.

Isn't it an FB Holden?
Kind of the equivalent of our F type Victor.

Well beyond saving, but it did yield a spare wheel for my scimitar:
