it may be a different year or somthing? as the rear lights don't have the chrome bits, the number plate is lower and the overriders on the rear are possibly upside down?
oh and why did the jag thread get locked? i cant even see it. but surely it had retro content

Back on topic that does look very much like that Merc to me, the body shape and glass looks very similar but the difference in angles the photos are taken at makes it hard to be 100% certain

theres one of those mercs sitting rotting away in a driveway about a mile from here, and another in the garage. the one outside is a ragtop I think.

As the Jag thread has been mentioned here i must add that i found it really creepy that i had only driven down Brownlow Rd past that address 15 min before i read the thread, Will have a looky tomorrow to see how Mr Jag has got on !

those at garfield road wernt today were they libertine? that moggy and mgb got binned ages ago when scrap prices went skyhigh..... thats my local yard yes mate dace engineering he gets alot of stuff go in there,at the gate at the mo are 2 saabs (the round shap 1s) another yellow mg and a clean moggy with flowers painted on which I knows from southampton we were down there today to get a seat belt for a 309 but the only 1 they had there the belts were taken . I'm down there quite often cause i cant stand silverlakes.plus his prices are realistic
