Another in the yard where I rent my lockup - just around the corner from the 944 S This definitely seems to have been abandoned ... it was pretty complete to start with but now partly stripped & vandalised: That seems a crying shame. It's a weird one - it's a 1987 16v GTi, so it's had the 90 spec bits added later, but has no MOT history online, suggesting that it hasn't been on the road for many years. It is sorned though. Looks like the private plate has been added at some point. Why would anyone let it get into that state? Could the plate be on retention? Not sure what the MoT database says about them? |

Don't know much about your plate numbering system (American here), is that common to have sequential numbers rotting next to each other?

Fleet vehicles often end up with sequential plates and if these were registered together the same sort if thing would happen.
If I had a big enough yard (or any sort of yard) I'd love to re home those.

The amount of unloved, forgotten about, dilapidating Porsches in the last few pages of this thread frustrates me so bad! Mainly because I would do awful things for any of them!

you don't find unloved bikes out in the open too often It doesn't even look too bad. That deffo needs returning to the roads. It upsets me, to see unloved bikes end their days like that. Let's hope it's an ongoing project, that the cover has just blown off ! |

Suzuki rf900. Good underated bike but Suzuki's build quality means that one may be past saving if its sat exposed for a while.
