That's an odd one.
I can't get my head around an e-type being left on a trailer and it not going missing, in addition to that a Range Rover then being parked on a trailer and not going missing. Let alone the bay. Odd one indeed.
My part of town if you even leave a trailer unhitched for any longer than 5 minutes it will go missing with nothing on it! Let alone an e-type or a Range Rover!

Don't want to seem morbid, but I'm hoping the camper owner isn't asleep inside....But that wouldn't account for the comings and goings of the trailer.

Imagine this for just one example of a set of circumstances, a guy buys an e type on a trailer, comes to pick it up from an agreed spot in his camper, hitches it on and thinks "ooh I'm a bit tired I'll just have a quick kip before towing this home" lies down, pegs it in his sleep and while he is lying there "expired" someone nicks his e-type, suffers massive pangs of guilt about it but can't bring it back for some reason, so he pops a range rover on there, flash forward several months and a load of people he never met end up discussing whats gone on, on a forum he had never heard of, while he is still undiscovered in the back of his camper.

The E-type had a cover over it and i didn't pick up which series it was (back then it wasn't such an intriguing part of the furniture), but it was a coupe with a box or something on the bonnet. I figured at the time that either it needed work, or was something that ran at the nearby Santa Pod drag-strip raceway.

Very odd one that. I mean an e-type, a Range Rover, a twin axle car trailer and the van all add up to a fair few grand. Not something I'd just want to leave at the side of the road for months.

that camper does seem strange, however first thing that popped into mind was a police bait trap? possible?

The Range Rover isn't what it seems either. It's a P38 with an L322 light and bumper set.

I would hazard a guess there will be some hefty chains holding all 3 of those together and preventing anybody from taking them with a Hiab

that camper does seem strange, however first thing that popped into mind was a police bait trap? possible? I've seen a panda car, with two coppers in, facing it. That was a fair few weeks ago. Evidently they've chosen to leave it alone. Which is odd, as there's no registration plate on the trailer, and it's on the 'queen's highway'.

^^^^ Don't worry about the arch, that doesn't look too bad. Be more concerned with the sun roof and by the looks of the interior mods it's probably had a hard life.

Another one within 300 feet of my house. Was parked just around the corner from where is now with a flat tyre. Then it suddenly appeared here, abandoned in the middle of the street, with the wheel off and sitting on the front brake disc. Standard council eviction notices. Actually tempted to stick a note on this one, its taxed and mot'd. Nobody on the street owns it and its been there for 3 weeks at least. Its now at Stan's place, wish I'd spotted this post sooner as I'm in the market for a cheap Z3......

Might have to go for a rake next weekend if there's anything left of it.
