I grew up in Swanley, was a cabbie there for 8 years too... house doesn't look familiar - i'll google earth where I think it might be, car should be visible if it's been there a while. Many hours later... So I found it, then went back through historical imagery to 1990 and although its now at the front of the drive, it is there.... well its brown and blurred but I reckon its the same car.
Vehicle make TRIUMPH
Date of first registration 01 June 1973
Cylinder capacity (cc) 1998cc
COâ‚‚Emissions Not available
Fuel type PETROL
Export marker No
Vehicle status SORN in place
Vehicle colour RED
Poor old thing, 26 years at the same house and i'd guess its been idle for the last 15 at least.

Yep I remember that car on that well known estate!! I worked around that area around the time my son was born 13 years ago so it's been there unmoved since then,, I wouldn't be knocking on any doors around there tho!

If it's the estate I'm thinking of I cycled through it yesterday, nothing exiting that I saw (unless a mk2 Espace and 00's modified Corsa with Lexus lights by the station counts )

One of my old school mates owned the garage in Crockenhill and another had his bodyshop round the back. I haven't been round there for 15/16 years. Bet theres a few lurking in that yard. While perving on google earth for the GT6 I found another 'stash' on a farm the other side of the A20, no street view as its private property but must be visible from the london bound A20 in winter.

Tony, and it was part of the garage buildings complex as I recall. Don't know what he's up to now but built some tasty customs back in the 80's & 90's.
Watch out for dawgs... Although I think there is a footpath from the other side of the A20.

405 about a 3 minute walk from my house. Untaxed since Nov 2004 and has been sitting there as long as I can remember. Is slowly becoming a botanical garden.

It's not visible as it's a high bank. I think alloy of it was cleared when scrap prices were high, I seem to recall a more recent aerial shot showing barely any cars. There were Landrovers and range rovers, a fire engine and more. Never seen it in the metal, I was out that way again on the bike today but went took the wrong footpath and ended up in St Mary's Cray! (yesterdays path took me to the station so I know the middle one will take me to the footbridge over the railway Oh and I very much doubt anyone would have the kahunas to steal anything from up there. It's pretty inaccessible and also, well, it's not the sort of people you mess with around there. Think of it as upgraded from caravans.......

405 about a 3 minute walk from my house. Untaxed since Nov 2004 and has been sitting there as long as I can remember. Is slowly becoming a botanical garden. It was only 9yo when it was parked up. I replaced a 406 1.8i with a 306 2.0i and the 406 was more fun, actually felt like a smaller car. They were properly galvanised so it's unlikely to be very rusty, if at all, and whilst it's not a fast one they're a good looking car, getting rare now, enjoyable to drive, this late model has the nice dash and low loading sill and is just generally a nice car that needs recommissioning and saving. Or at least just given a wash!

That 405 looks funny or it may just be me ? Is it the bigger one they made , a 605 or something ? Probably just me but it looks bigger than a 405 .

Almost interested enough to ask, however equally uninterested in the Peugeot so it evens out. 405 about a 3 minute walk from my house. Right in view from the main road where I stay too, so not even like its hidden away. That 405 looks funny or it may just be me ? Is it the bigger one they made , a 605 or something ?
