that kinda looks like a over sized fiat x19 looks like the guy put a fair wedge into it when he built it judging by the wheels ect I see what you did there.. I thought more Esprit, either way, it's an acquired taste, but was probably very much the vision of it's time. I want the wheels on my Polo, look like a fair offset, faux split, Alleycat style.. but they'll be 108s anyway - lots of classic Ford spares there.

the owner of this 1972, 3500 rover must of been a big fan of multi coloured swap shop, not moved since Jan 2014 Must have been imported or something as it's on an 82 Y. Think they stopped production in 76? Weird to see it on such a younger plate.

The p6 is an ex classics magazine staff car I think? It was owned by Mike renaut and was being rebuilt? Dunno how it's ended up seemingly unused

Dunno how it's ended up seemingly unused if so, any reason why the mag gave up on it, and left it sat there for best part of 2 years, anyone got any photos of it in the magazine ? oh by the way its L.H.D.

A couple I've spotted around Barcelona. The financial crisis hit this place pretty bad, so a lot of cars with expired ITV inspections (MOT). These two have clearly been stood around longer than normal though. They also have the expected "We will buy your car" flyers under the windscreen wipers lol.

Coming from kitcars, I can appreciate the effort of that. Most will see that as an ugly old b*****d of a thing, but I quite like it for that. It's better proportioned than a lot of older kitcars and specials.

How do they get away with parking them on what seem busy main roads if they have no mot?

How do they get away with parking them on what seem busy main roads if they have no mot? I guess the police have bigger problems out there. Mainly budget cuts I'd think. Although they've been targeting foreign vehicles much better recently. You'd be surprised how many ITV stickers still have 2015 written on them as of 30th December. I'd hardly think that large quantity of cars have their inspection on New Years eve lol. Anyway, a bit closer to home. I've spotted a seemingly abandoned Merc S-Class in an Asda car park in Canterbury. Not very interesting you may think, except for the fact it's on US plates and has been sat there for months. I stopped by to get a photo today and it seems the (private) plate, which was previously missing, has been replaced and reading Illinois. It's also packed up with stuff, so possibly waiting to be re-exported. I don't know the story behind this, but there was a BMW from New York running around here a few years back, which belonged to an American student. So it could possibly be the same deal. Who knows! It seems to have had its flat tyre re-inflated and cleaned, so not sure just how abandoned it is. But certainly not running anywhere any time soon, that's for sure!

I would have thought they must get people knocking on the door all the time asking if it's for sale.
