This trailer unit has sat here for as long as I can remember. What's it from?   My Dad used to work for Air BP at Heathrow Airport, it looks like it's in old BP livery, and the shape is rather reminiscent of the old low tankers that they used on the apron to go under the aircraft wings while refuelling, probably pulled behind a old Sedon Atkinson, I could be wrong but the colour's look correct, who knows ? Definitely a military fuel tanker. It has F35 in the circle on the back - which is a NATO spec for Jet A-1 Avtur. |

Here's a few from the back woods of Leicestershire  Series 1 Landy in Enderby that is not strictly abandoned as it still shows tax until Feb, surely deserves to be resurrected though.  Herald and Mini in the same place as the Landrover, the owner has had the Herald ten years to my knowledge and the caged mini is not long out of MOT so maybe a project in waiting.  This is in Bagworth just up the road from me and although it doesn't look much the green tarpaulin covers a nice mint green Mk1 Avenger four door that I've coveted for years, it's been out of MOT for about six years now and I have not seen it move in around ten years although it must have done. I have never been able to trace the owner, just behind it out of shot is a Reliant Rebel in quite a sorry state. |

Here we go, taken a few more pics and had a good poke around.      The back door was padlocked shut but I could see a large hose reel. It has huge rear leaf springs. There is a huge tank inside so I would say for fuel. Can anyone identify from the wheels a rough age?? Here's a bonus pic  They were originally covered in green with flat tyres but went down today and there clean. |

A couple of abandoned projects I spotted yesterday Is that Coventry air museum? It has Lopez , it's a real shame tbh and it's probably worth a couple of quid now with it being a series one. |
