Been meaning to contribute to this for a while. I'll start with today's finds whilst I'm stuck at the Dragon-in-laws in the redneck, hillbilly area of Stockport called New Mills! Audi Coupe Qauttro thing, been parked up for at least a year. Sorry for curse word pic it's a close as I could get without getting rained on! Brace of Audi 80/100/whatever the old saloon things were. There was also another on the drive in slightly better nick. And one of those Axiam things I think, love to know what's in that garage! When I'm back in civilisation (Sheffield) I've got some of a mk4 xr3i, an xr4i, a stock sierra, some Montegos and a maestro van, and possibly some Rolls Royces that have been left in an open garage.

HA van is in Wolverhampton. There is a gold Vauxhall on the drive too in a simlar state perhaps not quite as bad. It has been a few weeks since I took the pic but it is a royale or a record.

Judging by the polished lip I think I can see on the front wheel, as well as the design of the rubbing strip on the door, I'd bet on a Royale. *gets anorak*

SOZZA for the image repost, but we've been arguing about this for days now and nobody is any the wiser. What the heck is the white pillarless car on the right of the Dauphines? Any more pictures of it? Also, if you are feeling generous this Xmas please send the white Fulvia sedan to S. Barrett, Plastic Acres, Brighton. Ta! Here is another pic,I took the pictures a couple of years ago.The breakers belongs to a family friend 3rd generation breakers, explains all the oldies. In my photo bucket account I have labeled the pic as "Opel?" there must have been a reason for that. Everything there is for sale, due to french red tape it is quite hard to get a car back on the road that has been "scrapped" reguardless of it's condition. So any english punter could buy cars from breakers and run them in blighty with less of a headache.

South West France Villeneuve sur Lot (my birthplace) nearest airport Bergerac 40mins away,Ryanair fly there everyday.Try to locate someone local to talk on your behalf and to not let on that there is a foreign buyer sniffing around. In one of the original post pics there is the phone number of the yard. The collection of rare alloy wheels is interesting.Being into Renaults I was only into the Gottis.

How'd ya figure that from a pic of the back window? EASILY YOU CAN SEE A LOT MORE IN THE PICTURE THAN JUST A BACK WINDOW, ANY IDEA ON THE ROAD NAME/TOWN PLEASE... Try p.m the guy that posted the pic using the button over there << below his username. Quickest way to get a reply. And just so ya know. Caps lock being on when on a forum usually means your SHOUTING. Good luck

More details please Thanks for the interest... Should be finished at the start of next year, ready for racing and the good weather.... HA! She runs a big RR V8 motor, just put some bigger brake cylinders in the back, new fully adjustable rear coilovers, newly re-furbed exhausts, repaired the leaky rad, new fuel tank, 3-point harness fitted, new door latch, made things work that didnt before... Still plenty to do though... Is this Bry copey's old rod?

Here is another pic,I took the pictures a couple of years ago.The breakers belongs to a family friend 3rd generation breakers, explains all the oldies. Excellent work Mr.G! I'm sure Akku will be along in a minute to correct me, but it looks very much like a 1963 Buick to my eyes... Somebody needs to rescue those very solid looking Dauphines and bring them to the UK....

Yess. A Brasilia! Looks Spain/Portugal? Shame it looks very crispy, I'd love to own one of those. Slightly more boring. A 1982 Polo Saloon. It's not moved for about 5 years. I'll try and get an actual pic if anyone's interested as it's on my way to work.

I googled "pillarless coupes" and started to zero in onto Buicks because of those side decals. But now you have given me a year I reckon we are looking at a Buick Wildcat '63.I may have seen the traces of a circular Buick emblem and thought it was an Opel. There are quite a few Yankee Doodles in french breakers I think most will have come in via the rich swiss folk plus LPG has been available in France for a lot longer than it has in UK.
