Hi, TBH when you understand the principles or what you're doing you don't even need this machine. I just use either a slide hammer or lever type bead breaker and then two tyre irons on the flat. The only benefit of this machine is it raises the working height of the wheel and tyre.

The balancing machines are £45 new by the looks of it. That of course depends on how you get on with this machine . It was interesting seeing Alex of Car Throttle changing his own tyres .

tough wheel and tyre combo?
i do use a pair of separate tyre levers not the massive one it comes with.

as mentioned, did tyres on my BBS RC090's a few weeks back without issues.

This has spurred me on to buy both. I hate spending a tenner a tyre for fitting and balancing. I am always fiddling around refurbishing alloys etc and I’d have both delivered for €120. I’m going to order them when I get paid after Christmas. Has anyone used the tyre balancer?
