Here's a dealer with a fair amount of stock. They are importers from California so the stock should be mostly not too rotten. They have British, American and various Euro cars even a few Datsuns. So here's the game, you "virtually" buy a car from the dealer, sort it out how you want it and tell us what you'd have and do to it. Bonus points for any photoshopping Todays dealer is California Collection: www.apincorporated.com/cars.htmTo keep things simple shall we pick only from the cars which are here in the UK, not their "US stock" list... And vaguely realistic build ideas are better than wild fantasty ones... Me, I'd take that 1967 Ford Galaxie, slam it, paint it lime gold kandy, rolling on either wide black Stockton steelies or Cragar 5 spokes. Inside she'd need a full trim in OE green brocaide and vinyl, probably with the stock wheel flaked, some decentish ICE hidden away, Lokar or similar shifter (to clear the bench seat).. Motivation to come from a 460 big block, possibly with some form of stroker, Edelbrock heads, intake, suitable carb (Holley HP series or something), roller cam, loud header & dual exhaust set up, beefed up C6 trans to the stock 9" rear which will have some decent gears and a locker. I'm assuming its drums all round so an upgrade to discs on the front would be a good idea. Several sources for these in the aftermarket or use some of a Thunderbird or so. My second chice would have been that Lloyd, built as a gasser, but go knock yourselve sout and tell the rest of us all about it....

Mmmmm.... I likes that idea.
Looking thought their "European cars in USA" list I'm kinda amazed that some of these cars are out there. How did that london double decker bus or that Anglia 105E end up out there?

it doesn't matter if it's a Morris Marina or a Toyota Celica - it's what you do with it that counts

and the rest I think. Even a California car will be a bit rusty and those things are renowned for rot. I bet the average enthusiast could easily have best part of £20K in that to make it something nice. I do know a guy doing one by fabbing all the parts himself. Its taking years but keeping the costs waaaaay lower.

Fancying the Lincoln Continental myself.
Just a bit lower and stiffer with some tall and wide wheels, thin rubber, dechromed, satin black and heavily smoked winda's.

I know it says its sold but I'd have the '55 F100. Lowered a bit but not excessively on a rake and a fairly stockish looking set of steels'n' caps. Oh, and a nice early hemi with six carbs. Kinda pukka period push truck

Yo. Have been lurking for a while but am having a quiet afternoon and knocked this up... Sunbeam Alpine: Lowered on Advan wheels, lime green paint with slight pearl, checkered stripe and a silly engine - would a V8 fit? Maybe a K-series for Britishness.

Get that Continental MkIII, respray it dark brown, drive it around as 'Frog One' in the French Connection - I'd avoid the bit where the NYPD strip it down to a bare shell looking for heroin though.
