Been abit slow with the updates, 630cc injectors fitted, Walbro fuel pump fitted, 3 bar map sensor fitted and a custom made 3 inch system mated to the 3 inch downpipe, made a small difference higher up the rev range removing the 2.5 inch Abbott system, this was done for future proofing as will be needed when the Holset is fitted as she will be approaching the 380bhp mark and would be nice to keep EGT's down as low as possible.

There has also been a fresh map as this is required after fitting the 630cc injectors and T7 valve, power is now 318bhp and 460nm which isn't too shabby as shes still on the stock TD04, also had the boost moved to come in more progressive up to 3750rpm and from 3rd gear onwards you get full boost rather than Abbott's silly full demand from about 2400rpm no matter the gear which are known for not being too kind to gearbox's and spoils driveability, and to add to entertainment the fuel injector shut off has now been removed.

Its passion, and what comes hand in hand with passion is knowledge, I love cars and I love this old girl, I think as you get older and mature (slightly anyway) you stop chasing big numbers and try to combine drivability with fun and longevity of the life of the car, I will once the Holset is fitted be toying with different figures (bhp and torque) and where and when they come in to play, mating a more responsive turbocharger to a shorter ratio gearbox should make it alot more usable in the real world.

I love the midrange punch above all, 0-60 times mean nothing to me as in the real world no 1 actually does it, I love leaving it 4th or 5th and planting it.

The new turbo and manifold is going to be great fun.
