Still going strong! Currently done just over 19,000 miles in my ownership. And she did well in the westcountry snow!
Bit of work undertaken this month, misfire cured by replacment of sparkplugs (they were very much past their best) she is however still idling at around 1000/1100 rmp, tested the idle control and that seems fine, so i think a new coil and leads to follow :-)
the mighty Ford earnt more stripes when my girlfriend locked the only set of keys to the flat inside, so had to make an emergency latenight dash from Bristol to Leominster for the spare set! (good job i take my car keys with me everywhere!)
got a free haynes manual today for her to. Bodywork is really showing the tinworm now though, so opefully this summers job will be some welding

didnt bat an eyelid going along all the backroads around Somerset in the snow. once I had dug her out. My girlfriend's dad had just bought a new F-pace, but I am far too impressed with my Fiesta to notice :-)

Love a fez, didn't know this one existed. I had the mk 3.5 1.6 16v and i regreted selling it due to an injury and never saw another again.

These fiestas are mega, my mate gave me a 1.25 one a few years back to tide me over for a few weeks, cracking little car apart from the odd time you'd be sat at a set of lights, go to pull off and no matter what you did with the throttle it wouldn't rev just sit there idling away...

Cheap as to be ridiculous for some atm, future classic Maybe?? 😜 that is a weird thing tho! Throttle presumably?

I didn't realise how rare this particular one was tbh, which is interesting as it's a great configuration imo

And who says you need a big tow car? Fiesta reigns supreme once more :-) Whilst strapping down the bike met an 11month old lad and his dad, boy was very interested in the car and the bike (and a stick) looks like mechanical tinkering still has a bright future!

Part-worns are a no no mate. Ask yourself "why were they removed"? Scary. In fact I wont even use most new tyres. Unless they are made in Europe. The standards are just not good enough. PS I'm not minted the opposite indeed. Cool wee car that. Even more so with the costs involved.

Do not agree about only European stuff, even Goodyear dunlop make stuff in China now you should see the factories! Car looks like proper little workhorse.

So, the partworns were swapped out! 🙂
Fiezi is still about and has now completed somewhere around 25k miles. Superb car!
However it mot time again soon, place your bets?
Just had her up on the father in laws ramp, and she seems ok! Offside sill is a bit frilly, though it seems solid enough, and the arches are still shot under all the tape, but I am hopeful! I'm assuming a cracked front for light won't be a fail though 😊

Here's hoping the gaffe tape arches will go through another test, found some repair sections online which may be next year's job! Worst part of the car this bit... underside was pretty solid though!

cheers mate! The drivers side one will need a full replacement I think, the passenger side isn't as bad and could probably just had a repair section. Will be on that site come payday it looks!

depends how close it is to a suspension or seat belt mounting.

depends how close it is to a suspension or seat belt mounting. it's outside the area for that as far as o can tell. Structurally she is in pretty good nick, it's just the general body corrosion. I can say that she has got noticeably worse this year though.

Couple of advisories, for a slight exhaust leak which is annoying as the exhaust is only 1 1/2 years old so will need to track that down.. and the offside sill rust, which passed ok this time think will get a new arch and sill and should get more years of motoring! need a new fog light though as it as been smashed... (passed under the tape!)
