Quite an unexpected one really.... Went to a local breaker friends of mine for some transit parts and ended up buying a mercedes hearse (as you do) He was going to break it up and crush it so i done a deal and brought it home It is a pollmann coach build short wheel base History unknown :/

Matt black with airbrushed flames. Strip out the hearse specific interior and you will have the perfect weekender vehicle. If a dead fellow can lie down in it then it is large enough to be a weekend camper for two.

You might consider using signmakers silver vinyl and cover some or all of those huge side windows.....though, it is cool looking in to see all that nice wood. (impressed it cleaned up so well!)

That is dead cool. Are they speakers in the back? I wonder what tunes were pumped out of those? Got me thinking of Neil Young the musician who had a hearse in the 60s as band transport which he drove from Canada to L.A just before he joined Buffalo Springfield. A '48 Buick called Mort. I found that picture in an article called Five famous hearses !
