Back in 2008 I sold my 104 to a very nice man in Northern Ireland.
Due to various tings going on and getting in the way as well as the car spending the next 9 years in his workshop the registration seems to have got lost along the way.
A search of my draw of rubbish has turned up the old V5 for the car, registered in my name at my several moves ago old address. So what's the situation? How should I go about re registering the car with the DVLA? I suspect the reg may in fact still be in my name and nothing was done when it was shipped off. I just can't remember. I don't think I ever received any notifications re SORN etc and if I type its details into the DVLA it comes back as tax last due 2010 and MOT in 2009 so it looks like he at least taxed it for a while in Ireland.
If I fill out some forms am I likely to incur the wrath of the DVLA?
