Good evening!
I'm faced with a predicament, let me explain. ive built a fruity pre xflow for my mk1 Cortina. now the dizzy is of unknown age, but is very tired now has play in the shaft and is not really suited to the fruity kent A2 cam that's it now has. I just know its zapping power out of my fresh new engine. Hence the decision below..
I have decided that I will be converting it to 3d mappable ignition. As good quality distributors (aldon , h and h etc) are around the £300 mark! so I have to now buy the 3d ignition but I'm faced with a tough decision.
nodiz or megajolt and edis4?
Pros are megajolt has more maps available? relys on edis 4 and has that there incase the MJ decied to pack up, but then the cons are I have to run more electrical items such as the edis4 etc. plus it is more dearer than nodiz.
Nodiz the pros are its just going to be that one box in the way. cons I can see are I'm relying on that one box , and are there many tuners south east that can map the nodiz to suit a 1500 pre xflow on 40s?!!?
Answers on a postcard as to what route I should take?
Thanks in advance again
