Random weird J-Tin spot I kinda like it. 1987 Toyota Corolla, with those huge back lights. Liked these a lot when they were new. 3 door had smallers wussyer lights though. A mate had one of them a few years later. A pretty mint looking Volvo, shares drive space with some very expensive BMWs and Merc S class. MG BGT. Capri and MK1 XR2. Both sweet. Any love for a tidy Micra? Dunno why but this tickled my fancy. The last stock 3 door Nova? Not sure if thats an air intake or a missing headlight. Cool old Reliant RObin, shame this ugly old Ford got in the way... How cool is this Mk3 estate? That cool and the rest. Noice. There must be about a dozen of these in my village and they are all this colour except for one white one. Another car I loved when new, the 1988 or so Camry. 2.0 V6. I'll have a saloon in Maroon please. I almost did once. THAT flamin' TVR. Still not moved but at least its been washed. Camper with graphic stripe doo-dad Paul's dayvan Paul's Zephyr with 351 Cleveland power. Paul's Escort Not sure what I think about these. Too old to be modern, to modern to be old. And retro styled. First of the breed though? That camper again Nice Morgan That SS1 again from beforee but with new wheels and a bit of a tidy up since last I spotted it here for your delectation KG I see about a lot. Mk1 Fester with two middle aged ladies in it. Retro-factor is double when the driver doesn;t realise how cool thier ride is.... Minor Tourer in the shade Nice colour Golf cabrio Very tidy, unmollested RS Turbo S2. They love their big Volvos round here. Followed this the other day. Cool beans. Driver was giving it some go as well I'm trying to arrange the resuce of this one before local kids trash it. Time may be runningout for the MG ZB Magnette Varitone. Shame. It was a very nice car once. Suspect it will go the way of the bangers soon. Attempts to save are being made, sort of.

There is some rot in the wings and door bottoms but the rest of it is apparently fairly sound.

The corolla is pretty much the same as my brother's, right down to the colour. I think it would look really good with celica - style pop up lights at the front, but assume they would be completely different

Some excellent spotting there AK, something for everyone! That mk3 Escort estate is a beaut, I love that dullard blue colour with the standard steelies all sparkling, gorgeous! Very sad to see that Magnette, but the Ford Pilot (?) looks far too good to be sat under all that rubbish, wonder what the story is there??

Ruddington Spots O Massive, the capri and Fekka are both owned by my mate. The Capri is not too bad in condition and was picked up for 300notes with a bloody mot. It was owned by a old lady for years then my mate got it.
The Fekka was his first car, he smashed it up about 3 years ago and was aassisted by his dad to re-build. Inside the garage on the right there is a Shot blasted MK2 Midget and a like New 1500 midget. Also there is usually an asortment of VW's mostly in MK2 gold form.
And Infact the Red Rubber Bumper MGBGT was restored by the lads dad with the Capri and fekka.
Ruddington town center Morgan, Used daily by the owner come rain or shine.
Phewwww I am off for a nap.
P.S.
They have pumped the tyres up on the TVR too, the front left was flat on saturday.

I keep wondering if I should go round and say "hi" to Capri/Fiesta/MG guy. Never seem to get around to it.
Theres a 1969 Cadillac Sedan DeVille I didn't get a snap of, more VWs inc I think an oval window Beetle and a very very tidy series 2 Orion.
I believe that Pilot and MG are owned by the same guy. Investigation is underway.

I like the Presea too. Think they have 1.5/1/8/2.0 engines and sit somewhere between Sunny/Pulsar/Almera and Bluebird. Frameless windows, always good.
Not sure if that Camry would be V6 if it’s a 2-litre, think it would be bigger capacity if so (can’t remember if it would be a 3.0 like V6 versions of my later one would have).
Magnette sad.

Nice spots Alistair. The Magnette is indeed a very sad sight, the V8 Pilot is a great find. Hope something better happens to it.

I would suspect that the floors and sills are pretty well shot on that poor Magnette which would be a damn shame but they are very prone to the tinworm. They were a very early monocoque design and unfortunately dampness and rot sets in at just about every joint! If anyone wants to save it (if I bring another one home I'll be searching for my manly bits!), I can put them in touch with a guy that hand fabs the repair panels

Aircooled is cool.......
But V8 is great!!!!!!
