I managed to take some time off work yesterday to address some of the niggles. The power steering problem was just a loose belt and the charging problem was a failed voltage regulator inside the alternator. Both are now cured. I ran out of time before fixing the clonk from the exhaust but I'll try to get that addressed this weekend. It's getting a decent charge now... and check out how good the oil pressure is on idle (with choke) Drove it a few miles in the sunshine this afternoon. Loads of fun to drive.

God, this is so lovely... must resist dipping into house deposit funds... cheers Marc... Postpone the house purchase and live in the Jag for a bit! The boot is big enough to sleep in I reckon. I fixed the exhaust clonk at the weekend and seeing as the original wheels will be sold with the car I decided to give them a once-over too. I removed the old tyres then attacked the wheels front and back with wire wheels on the angle grinder to remove rust, then treated them to a coat of rust converter then 2 coats of epoxy primer then 2 coats of 2-pack silver. They turned out ok: Miles better than they were when I got them. I touched up the black paint on the hubcap centres too and once they have their hubcaps and trim-rings on, they'll look mint.

That is a fine looking Jag and top notch work. I think you can have your City & Guilds welding certificate! Hope it finds a good home.

thanks man. I'm pulling my hair out here... I hosted my images on Imigur, which works fine on this forum, but apparently on eBay that's not the case and very few folks can see the images, most folks get broken links. I phoned ebay who told me to suck it up and add more content: No chance of amending the broken links because it already has bids
Does anyone know of a 3rd party image hosting service that ticks all these boxes...
Doesn't have to be free... I'm happy to pay Can upload multiple images at a time without having to enter a robot code for each image can produce a LIST of HTML coded for the images that can be pasted into a listing... not one at a time
